About this course
The method
The course is pattern-first. Instead of memorising long vocabulary lists, you learn a small number of high-value sentence patterns and then recombine them with new words. Grammar terms arrive only when they help you say something sooner.
Spaced review brings back the words and phrases you find difficult at growing intervals — 10 minutes, then 1 day, then 3, then 7 — so your effort goes where it is needed.
What level you actually reach
What this course is not
- It is independent and unaffiliated. Built on general principles of intensive pattern-based learning — independent and unaffiliated with any named method brand, publisher, app or television programme. It is not endorsed, approved or authored by anyone else, and any resemblance in approach comes from widely documented teaching principles, not from a licence.
- It is not a complete reference grammar. Grammar is explained only as far as it helps you speak sooner; the grammar reference fills in the rest, concisely.
- It quotes no student numbers, ratings, reviews or awards, because there are none to quote.
